Perfect Set
on April 8, 2024

I’m not a huge D&D fan, not even into the Lego castle theme. This is the best Lego set ever. The details are excellent and the colors are so rich and warm. I was expecting maybe a few gimmicks for the adventure, but this set is full of awesome ideas. Many lego sets feel like they are missing something or they could have done more. This set feels beyond complete (aside from the physical game book). I love this set, please make more D&D products from the same designer(s)!

Awesome D&D set

This set is amazing and detailed. It is definitely for adults as the builds are a bit tricky for the <10 yr old audience. Its a bit expensive, and I would have really liked to see the adventure included as a booklet, but I would definitely buy again.

Great set with a few misses
on April 11, 2024

In general it is a great set. I love LEGO and love D&D as well as my son. We built it together and had a blast.
Very good building experience.
Pros:
Monsters are great. The images of the displacer beast weren't compelling, but in actuality it is a great monster. The beholder and owlbear are both great.
The minifgs are fantastic. It is basically a mix-and-match setup with different equipment and heads that can be used to customize your D&D party. This is a great play feature.
Cons:
The indoor spaces are too small. It is very difficult to place minifigs in the indoor areas, particularly the inn, and complicated with weapons and other items. The overall dimensions of the interior spaces are simply too small for active play.
Overall: I do recommend it as it is a great building experience, minifig customization, and the overall aesthetic is very pleasing with fantastical elements. Just be aware if you have a child that wants to play with the indoor spaces of the set, that it may be a challenge, but it is a great set overall.

Fun build to many stickers
on April 10, 2024

The building was set up nice for group play. If you planning on using it for a campaign only the dungeon master should build it. I feel for the price point ever too many stickers or elements should’ve been printed. Also not a fan of the color usage on the dragon.

Droopy Dragon

Awesome set! However, the Dragon's head droops and its face falls off easily. I refuse to use the kragle.

We're sorry you're having trouble keeping the dragon's head together. If you'd like a hand troubleshooting the build or if you find that any pieces aren't holding together as they should, feel free to give us a shout at LEGO.build/Service-BV so we can help!
