A lot of fun and a nice adventure

Building the set, imagining the adventure, writing scenarios and adventures for future plays. The mini figurines are great, the different sections, the mix of building and landscape make this set ambivalent and can satisfy all LEGO tastes. I cannot wait to DM with my daughter and her friends soon!

D&D Set Eeeeeeee!!

I have been waiting years for this to be a reality!! It is a great set with lots of play features, as well as opportunities for modifying and making it your own adventure. I am hoping this is a gateway for children to learn to play D&D and become immersed in the world of fantasy, monsters, and fun!!

Most fun I've had building a set in a while!

My main lego purchases are for castles and Star wars Legos and this set was the most fun I've had building a lego since the lion knights castle. The methods used were intelligently thought out and fun to construct. My kids and I enjoy playing with this set along with the other new castle lego sets. I've read the dnd campaign book and while I've never played dnd it looks like a ton of fun! Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys castle Legos or dnd.

Though the price is a bit steep, it is waves easier than putting together other miniature sets, and it already comes "pre-painted," so to speak. The story is also very fun, and glad to get this and the printed book together.

I have never played D&D but I'm a huge fan of fantasy as well as the LEGO Castle theme, so this was a perfect blend of both. The set was a lot of fun to build since it had a lot of unique features, creatures and a beautiful overall aesthetic. My biggest complaint would be that it's a little tricky to balance the dragon on the bridge like in the promotional picture. I found that having the dragon's tail go through the notch in the broken tower and wrapping the tail around to the front helps, although it doesn't feel very secure. It would have been nice if there was a feature built into the set to stabilize the placement of the dragon. Also, this is a little nit picky but the horns on the dragon's head covers its eyes unless you rotate them upwards as opposed to downwards like in the instructions. Still, this was one of my favorite sets to build and it is a great display piece. I highly recommend!
