Built for fun, made for adventure!

This build is filled with fun and adventure in mind. Even though it is an 18+ set, it is meant to be used for the D&D adventure that accompanies it. Make sure you download it or get the hard copy because it helped with the understanding of what you are building and who the minifigures are. I built this with my family each taking pages and it was so much more enjoyable than building on my own.

Great lego

It is a great lego set love the dragon and the inn but how fast they back peddled on giving away a mimic with each set left me with a sour taste, instead of trying to be understanding about why id ask about the mimic my reply was instead linking me to there legal sweepstakes notice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I absolutely love the set. I definitely recommend it for any D&D, or LEGO fan. The beholder and gelatinous cube are my personal favorites.

Great set, if a little too expensive, would love to see more D&D sets as a standard theme at various price poiints to build out more buildings, monsters and characters.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [Employee of lego-global] The concept is fantastic. Putting it together was a lot of fun. I am looking forward to playing the one-shot with it with my D&D group. The only drawback was that some of the instructions did not flow logically, like when you put the lizardman in the narrow doorway after the room was already completed; not an easy task with larger fingers. This difficulty was also experienced in other areas as well.

A lot of fun and a nice adventure

Building the set, imagining the adventure, writing scenarios and adventures for future plays. The mini figurines are great, the different sections, the mix of building and landscape make this set ambivalent and can satisfy all LEGO tastes. I cannot wait to DM with my daughter and her friends soon!
