A fun build with lots of easter eggs

This set has a lot of references to Dungeons and Dragons lore from Monsters, to the minifigs.

I genuinely love the set, I wish the figures included were based on those in the recent movie, but otherwise, I can't complain at all, the playability and aesthetic are fantastic, this might be the best dragon ever in a lego set, it's just a great set all around.

I have never played D&D but I'm a huge fan of fantasy as well as the LEGO Castle theme, so this was a perfect blend of both. The set was a lot of fun to build since it had a lot of unique features, creatures and a beautiful overall aesthetic. My biggest complaint would be that it's a little tricky to balance the dragon on the bridge like in the promotional picture. I found that having the dragon's tail go through the notch in the broken tower and wrapping the tail around to the front helps, although it doesn't feel very secure. It would have been nice if there was a feature built into the set to stabilize the placement of the dragon. Also, this is a little nit picky but the horns on the dragon's head covers its eyes unless you rotate them upwards as opposed to downwards like in the instructions. Still, this was one of my favorite sets to build and it is a great display piece. I highly recommend!
