Fantastic Set for Lovers of D&D
on April 10, 2024
Posted by: SunshineOnline
This is my first full-size LEGO set, and I am so happy to have purchased and built it. The build has been super fun, and the little details are very satisfying. The monsters and minifigures are fantastic, and they are just about the right size to integrate into my weekly D&D campaign as miniatures. My hope is that the LEGO Company will offer many more D&D tie-ins in the future.

This set is awesome. A bit pricey, but worth the money. It probably helps I enjoy D&D items. All the little things they did made building this set a lot of fun.

Awesome D&D tribute with lots of details

I really enjoyed building this set, and appreciated all of the small details included. I know there is a own shot adventure that accompanies the set, but the multitude of monsters, and all the hidden details are great, whether plan to use it for a game or not.

Great but Overpriced

I love both dnd and Lego and knew I needed this set. I don’t regret getting it, it was fun to build but there was a lot of tiny pieces which should’ve made this set cheaper as well as a lot of extra pieces that inflate the price and piece count. Disappointed in the price but fun nonetheless.

I have been a Lego fan all my life and I got into D&D in High school. This set combines 2 of my favorite activities. The hidden references to D&D and the fun of building this set brings back so many good memories. I would recommend this set to both D&D Fans and anyone who loves legos.

Masterful crossover

I've been using LEGO mini figures as Dungeons and Dragons minis for a long time, so to finally witness an official collaboration between LEGO and DnD has been amazing. This set comes together beautifully. Each section is built and incorporated onto the previous build in a perfect story-telling way.
I was able to.piece together most of the narrative that is found in the (included) PDF for the one-shot that has been built into the set! It was a treat to build some of DnD's most iconic monsters and after this, I CRAVE individual releases of other types of dragons.
Each minifigure comes with an alternate head so you/your players can customize their mood and gender appearance which is a wonderful inclusion. I am particularly happy with the Dragonborn head piece and look forward to other colors!
My only major nitpick: I wish the Inn was slightly larger. It feels exceedingly cramped compared to the other sections. Otherwise this is a must-buy set for DnD fans, AFOL who love castles and ruins. Or dragon fans.

Dragon-tastic!

Great design with a LOT of hidden details. Worthy of the D&D legacy and fun to build alongside the Adventure book. Can't wait for the next Dungeon to dive into!
My only "complaint" is that the instructions don't give clear notes on getting Cinderhowel to balance on the tower. ;-)

Fun build

Can't wait to play the adventure with my D&D Group. While it looks great some of the areas in the dungeon will be hard to play, it could of used more of a modular build approach like the inn, just my opinion. All in all really fun build, and great model.
