I was surprised at how much I liked this piece. When I first purchased it, I thought it was a funny novelty. But, after I built it, I was impressed with how beautiful it was. The multiple hues throughout the piece are really attractive. And I love that the piece can be presented with or without the gilt frame.

The Mona Lisa isn't a subject I'd have thought of for a Lego set - but this interpretation is worthy of building and displaying. The build experience is interesting, going beyond the "dots art" approach, and the result is visually appealing. The only (minor) criticism I have is that the eyes aren't quite right - but overall, this compares well to the original.

Really loved the look of this set, pretty good building experience other than the tips of my fingers going numb from all the small gold pieces . Still a very very good set , might be a little tricky to hang flat on the wall dude to the nail holder covered by a framed plate
