One of my first Lego artwork pieces and experience was very positive! I like how the instructions help to build the frame, canvas and painting as discrete steps and to me that is the play experience in this set. The painting portion also builds up through layers which makes the overall experience really satisfying

Great set to put together and surprisingly not that repetitive. While building and up close, the face and other features seem odd, but once it's all done and displayed across the room, you can't tell the difference from an actual painting. Wasn't sure if I would hang it up, but after completing the set, definitely will!

What a great set! I've been building Lego for about two years, and this is the fourth set I've done that has a higher level of difficulty. When there is an area of dark colored bricks, I have difficulty distinguishing the various bricks depicted in instructions. It would be fabulous if Lego would show outlines of bricks. As a result, it took me three tries to get the right side of Mona's hair and cape correct. Otherwise, the build went well. I was planning to hang this in my work office, but I like it so much, I'm keeping it at home. The detail is impressive - I see much more in the Lego version than I've seen in photos of the original. I definitely recommend this set as a fun build.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had fun doing this took me a while to put it together by myself but doing this was fun it’s study and the picture gives you options for eyes or no eyes the packaging was good I think it’s worth the money I want to get the galaxy one . I haven’t tried hanging it up yet when so far it stays in my book shelf like book nook sort of. It has some weight to it .

I really enjoyed this build! It was one of the more complicated ones that I've done since I'm a new builder, but it wasn't super difficult. I actually really liked the gold pieces! The only issue I had was with the pinky on the right hand, it took me a min to get it to fit lol.
