The companion audio/video links with this build carries this into a 5 star rating, I would have said 4.5, but listening to the behind the scenes brought extra significance to the build.
I normally categorize the pieces from each bag before building from it, but I was inspired to just pour them out and get to building ("wreckless artism" instead of "calculated autism" my husband says).
Took around 3 hours to make

Intricate and beautiful

This set was very detailed and well made. I enjoyed how the directions were in depth and accurate. While building the frame in the beginning, it was a peek into how tedious this set would be for me to complete. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly I got into my groove and how fast the time flew by. Being that this is my first real lego set, (excluding small sets from my childhood) I did not find myself dreading building this set (even though it was definitely challenging at times!) overall a beautiful set which will be hung up in my room shortly!

I loved doing this piece! The frame is perfection, the gold, all of the detail, it’s beautiful! The colors are amazing as an entirety & it is so well done. I wish they would do other paintings with frames like these.
Could hang as decor both at home or in an office setting as a conversation piece.
The obsession is real with this one ♥️

This is truly a stunning build. I adore the Lego art pieces. I have built the Great Wave and Starry Night as well. But this one is probably my favorite. I love how the frame is gold Lego pieces, it gives the piece a classic look. And the build has such cool little details - like how her hair is done and how her index finger is on a little hinge piece.

I love the art series and I am a huge van of Da Vinci and this piece was one I had to have for my office. I am a lover of legos but only by ones I really want to display (helps me safe) but this is one I HAD to have! It was a fun build, as I watched my favorite show about Da Vinci and it will go right next to my Van Gogh piece from a few years ago!

Have Starry Night so this just made sense to add to my collection. This was a fun build and I love that the frame could be used separately if desired - I may attempt to build a frame for a real canvas soon! Would LOVE to see more “masterpieces” to add to my Lego gallery! Perhaps Van Gough’s Sunflowers! 🌻
