Great build of anther French building

Very detailed build. 34 bags of fun and frustration but they go quickly. Very stable set and easy to make mistakes, (I made 2 but they were quickly fixed once I found them). Each bag takes about 20 minutes which makes it very joyful to build.

Rich detail, small size

Candles, ingots, dragon teeth, and magic wands. I love repurposing. I opened up one side to display the interior. I am using it to demonstrate how our 1/40 scale LEGO model of the Washington National Cathedral could have an open cutaway on one side. It shows off the interior details. Now to modify Notre Dame to resemble our Washington cathedral. Think of ND as a starting kit for your local gothic edifice!

Amazing Set
on June 8, 2024

As a lover of architecture, and of LEGO, I was very happy when I heard this set was coming out. When I watched the designer's YouTube video describing how the build would follow the real-life building of the cathedral over the centuries, I was hooked! Couldn't be happier with this set - tedious repetitions at time (so many windows!) but the finished product is truly a gem.

It’s my first Lego purchase & I enjoyed building it. I was excited when I saw it, since I’ve seen Notre Dame in person. No regrets in purchasing it. It’s worth every penny.
One of the best Lego sets I have ever built. It is visually stunning and will draw anyone’s eyes to it when they pass by. Slow and steady is the best way to build this set do not rush enjoy the time it takes for completion. Also read the interesting historical facts in the booklet as you build. It makes the experience more organic. There are sod headache part especially at the beginning and yes some steps can be repetitive but stick with it, you will be glad that you did.

It took me about 3 wks to get thru the 34 bags, worth every evening! Great build! Beautiful detail! I'll likely add a light brick, at least, to show it off. Great display build.

Finicky build. Great end result.

While I love the end result of the cathedral, the build itself was finicky and fragile. I loved learning the history and order in which the various parts of Notre Dame was constructed, added to, or changed which really saved the build experience from being not great. The end result though is that it looks great and that I love it.

If your set seems like it's not very sturdy, the best thing to do is double-check your build. Sometimes there may be a piece just a little off from where it should be. You’ll also want to make sure that all the pieces are pressed tightly together. Feel free to reach out to us at LEGO.build/Service-BV if you need assistance!
