A Great Combination of Quality and Ease of Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I started learning about Kamado grills, I was intrigued, but hesitant to take on the learning curve. After learning about the Konnected Joe, I was all in. The ability to incorporate the technology of the controller, along with the accompanying app, make this grill a joy to use. More importantly, I'm gilling the tastiest meats in the while neighborhood!

The Konnected Joe is a Game Changer!

I've been extremely impressed with the functionality of the Konnected Joe. It takes about 10 minutes to reach your desired temperature from start up. The Display is great and can be easily seen from far away.
Absolutely hit a Home Run with this!

A Fun Addition to Kamado Cooking

I have enjoyed all of the Konnected Joe modes that makes it so fun to use. You can use this like a traditional KJ being able to control your vent settings to utilizing automatic / accessory features to dial in your temps without thinking about it. I really like the automatic fire starter feature that makes lighting your charcoal a breeze. Don't worry for the haters or purist, you can still light the konnected joe on your own. I think this innovation to a Kamado Joe makes this a real easy on-ramp for beginners or even pitmasters that are feeling pressed for time or feeling lazy. I have cooked steaks, chicken, pork butt, brisket and other meats so far. I'm a big fan!

This is such an amazing grill! Especially for people just learning how to use a Kamado Joe. I put it to the ultimate test with smoking a brisket for my first cook and it nailed it!!!!

This grill is a must have! It has made my cooks so much easier, quicker & consistent! Literally set the temp and let it do the work for you. Not to mention the time it saves you- I find myself using this more and more during the week because its so quick & easy to use. Game changer for sure!

So far I love how this grill works. The heating coil that lights the coal is a huge plus as it provides a consistent light without any hassel. Being able to control the temp is great as well. Essentially, this grill takes out any difficulties folks would have with using charcoal grills. Can't wait to cook more on it.

The Konnected joe is a pleasure to use. Super convenient to the user that's needing a little help getting temps dialed in, or has a busy schedule with work and family and likes the convenience of remote control and monitoring. Konnected is easy to set up, and comes to temp fairly quickly. What I love about this model is that all my KJ Classic cooking surfaces, Joetisserie, DoJoe and Karbon griddle can be used with it. And you still get that charcoal flavor on your steaks and BBQ.

I LOVE my new Konnected Joe. We built a new house and I got to design my new outdoor kitchen. I had a Joe II Classic and left it at our old house so I could upgrade. I'm very glad I went with the Konnected. It has been extremely hot this summer in Texas and being able to get my grill up and running without having to stay outside the whole time has allowed me to grill a lot more than I would have. It is so easy to get the grill warmed up and ready to cook. Then, with the app and connected temp probe I can monitor my cook from inside the house in the air conditioning!
Plus, having the option to cook manually when I want makes it the best of both worlds. If you are wondering if the Konnected Joe is the way to go, just do it! I just wish they offered a stand alone version for those of us using it "built in".
