the water level will not go high enough for bigger loads

We are more than glad to assist you with the water level in your washer. With this unit being a high-efficiency appliance, water may not cover the top level of the clothes. This is normal.
The Department of Energy (DOE) sets standards for washer water usage. Over the years, the amount of allowable usage has been reduced. With the units using less water and energy, you will no longer see a wash basket full of water. Most are now programmed with load sensing to adjust water levels based on the cycle and load size, so the amount of water used will vary.
*Note: It is not recommended to manually add more water to the washer.

This washer was installed on July 5. It’s the first new washer I’ve had in 25 years. I really like this new unit as it can determine water lever automatically. It is easy to get the wet laundry out of the big tub. It has more cycle options than my old washer and I’ve been trying them all.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I did not get the proper manual. I had to print it off myselt.
The normal cycle spins for 25 minutes. thats way too long.
Every load is out of balance.
Also the load size is the same no matter what cycle you choose.

You can always access the latest version of literature for your model by searching for your model number on our Hotpoint website.
It is also not abnormal for the spin cycle to last for 25 minutes depending on the cycle selected. We advise viewing the loading instructions on page 15 of the Owner's Manual at the link below, as loading has a direct effect on the balancing of the wash load.
