Delighted with this unit. Purchased in Jan '25, it replaced a 30+ year old Kenmore. It features a much larger drum and much more water efficient operation. Simplicity was a key selling point. Simple controls, minimal options, no blue tooth or remote operation, no satellite links, internet access, or any of the other stuff that drives up complexity and cost in appliances today. Would recommend and would purchase again.

This little GE Hotpoint is the first washer I've owned that has separate fabric softener and bleach respositories. Boy, does it make a difference! It also has simple knobs and buttons, not those computerized dials and displays. Call me old-fashioned, but in my opinion, the fancier and more elaborate an appliance, the greater the chance something is going to go wrong. This washer does its job, does it efficiently, and my clothes seem to be better washed than they were with my old washer. A+

I have had the washer for over a month. I feel it is loud and it takes a long time to complete the cycle. My clothes are coming out fine and I like that.

Still getting use to the amount of water needed for a load. It's seems to be less than my old Hotpoint washer, but this drum seems wider. Works great 👍🏻
