Loud and sounds like a dying moose

The clothes seem like their getting clean, but the washer sounds like it's on its last legs. The motor during the agitation cycle sounds loud and labored and I'm wondering if something is wrong with it? I'll be amazed if it lasts a year with the way it sounds. Tried to go to the website that addresses the sounds but there are no actual recordings or examples of what this washer should sound like.
