GE has maintained high product standards for years

Washer was just installed 2 days ago with the Dryer. Did a load of laundry yesterday and was completely satisfied with performance and ease of learning washer features with help of excellent manual layout. The quality and price were icing on the cake, so to speak. I love the care taken in getting clothes clean while safeguarding the clothes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

As much as you can love and inanimate object---I love this new washing machine! It is loaded with features. One of my favorites is the ability to open the lid in a minute or 2 to add a missed sock or something without restarting the whole cycle! We are on a septic system so we appreciated the water usage control with great results cleaning clothes.

The washing machine is great. I have had it since 02/22/2025 and it stopped working today. It is knocking loudly and shaking very bad. But before it went out, it performed greatly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you are noticing your washer vibrating rapidly or walking, we recommend checking to make sure your unit is completely level to the ground. Also, it can be important to load the washer properly to avoid out of balance conditions. The best way to achieve a balanced load is to load dry items evenly and loosely around the outside of the basket, filling in towards the center on larger loads.

Not hard to operate

Only washed but 2 loads of clothes but I really like my hotpoint washing machine.my old hotpoint stopped but I can't complain after having it for 17 years.

Extreme spin cycle

Spin cycle takes forever. Washer okay other than last spin cycle, takes over 10 minutes

"We would like to provide clarification regarding this unit's spin cycle time. This model is designed with an extended spin time to comply with energy regulations. The regular spin cycle duration is approximately 20 minutes; however, you can reduce it to about 12 minutes by selecting the Normal cycle and choosing 'None' under the options.

We recommend resetting your washer by disconnecting power from the unit for 2 - 3 minutes and reconnecting power. If this reset does not revert the unit back to normal operating function, this will require service by a qualified technician.
