We'd like to assist with your washer not completing a cycle. We recommend you reset your washer by unplugging it for two minutes, plug it back into the outlet, and then press Start. If the issue continues, we recommend scheduling an appointment with our Bodewell Service Team by calling 1-833-426-3393 or online here: https://www.bodewell.com/schedule-repair-service.
3 Service calls and it is still not working right. Many symptoms. Very loud. Auto water level never gets it right. Spins like a demon. Techs have said some features do not work at all. Must always select High to get enough water. Replaced control panel no change. GE still refusing to do anything about it except 4th tech visit. Has to be classified "UNREPAIRABLE" We shall see. Maybe your experience will be different but would I buy this one again? NOT a Chance!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We’re sorry to hear the service appointments haven’t yet solved the issues you’re having with your washer. We’d like to address your situation.
Regarding the water level specifically, we can advise that over the years the amount of allowable water used in washing machines has been reduced by the Department of Energy, who sets these standards. As washing machines have become more efficient, they use much less water and energy to get the same or higher level of cleanliness as older models. It is normal for the wash basket not to be full of water as most washers are programmed with load sensing to adjust water levels based on the cycle and load size selected. Nothing like my Amana with suds saver, Amana washer bought in 1990. I could lift the lid anytime I wanted, fill washer to whatever amount I wanted. Only reason I bought a new washer was because the belt broke and machine made popping noise and smoking. Perhaps I could have belt replaced but did not know this was possible until new machine arrived and installer told me. I hate this machine. Told Ritzmann in Hales Corners, WI that I wanted the simplest machine. Wished I could have seen this machine in action before I bought it.

We'd like to provide information on your washer's water level selections and the grinding sound. This washer does allow you to manually select the water level and you can open the lid while the water fills. If you select Auto, the washer will not fill with water if the lid is opened. When the lid is closed the machine is able to begin filling with water in order to sense the load size. Your new washer may sound different from your prior washer. You can find information on your washer's sounds on pg. 27 of the owner's manual: https://images.salsify.com/image/upload/s--esnlivKk--/o60hz6zrissnlkutq8qc.pdf. After reviewing this information, if you believe the sound that you're hearing is abnormal, we recommend scheduling an appointment with our Bodewell Service Team by calling 1-833-426-3393 or online here: https://www.bodewell.com/schedule-repair-service.
