I bought this washer a month ago and I love it can choose my fill size for my load or choose auto sensor it has an agitator which I love Very Happy with it
I've had this washer for about a month and so far I am not happy with it. The washer worked so well for the first couple loads and I love the softener dispenser. But. . .then it stopped draining and spinning leaving me with sopping wet clothing in a few inches of water. I read the booklet that came with it thoroughly and went online to search for suggestions. Best one I found was to reset the washer by unplugging it, waiting a bit, and plugging it back in. This worked for the first load after that, but now I'm back to soggy clothes and no spinning.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Model # HTW265ASWWW top Load washer has many poor features. Water level extremely low even on Max settings. No Deep fill setting to add additional H20. Must use a bucket to fill machine enough to cover clothes. Extremely noisy in agitation cycle. Gear grinding noise. Doesn't clean close properly in my opinion. Help line told me noise and water level is normal but I disagree. I'll never buy GE or Hotpoint in the future.

We are more than happy to provide guidance with this washer. Over the years, the amount of allowable water usage has been reduced. With washers using less water and energy, you will no longer see a wash basket full of water. Most washers, such as this one, are now programmed with load sensing to adjust water levels based on the cycle and load size, so the amount of water used will vary. It is also not recommended to manually add more water to the washer.
