I've had this almost 2weeks & so far love it,the big stainless steel tub is great * so like the easy, plain controls. No computer panel with all the unnecessary buttons to push.Like the simple,un-smart appliances.
I purchased this washer in April 2025. I wanted an agitator that cleaned my clothes. I love to work outside. I mow the yard; pot plants & chase my dirty little dog around the yard. I'm elated. It cleans my dirty clothes!!!
Very loud and noisy when it washes clothes and it seems to reqfuire more water than my previous Kenmore.

We would like to help you with the sound level of your washer and clarify some information about its water usage. We recommend checking that the unit is properly balanced on an even floor. If needed, you can adjust the leveling legs by rotating each leg in the appropriate direction to raise or lower it.
If the issue persists after troubleshooting, we recommend scheduling service with one of our Bodewell technicians by calling 1-833-426-3393 or visiting us online at: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm
Regarding the water level, this model uses a minimum of 7 gallons and up to a maximum of 26 gallons of water, depending on the cycle and load.
We will pass your comments regarding this model's features to our product design team for review.
A good machine for those who just want the basics.

This is the closest thing I've found to an old style washing machine. My only gripes are that I can't tell where in the cycle the machine is, and the lid stays locked much longer than necessary when the cycle ends. Otherwise wise, a nice washer for the price.
We bought this because it is a good basic washing machine and we got a better price through our local Hardware store than the big box stores were offering.
