[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quiet. Clothes are getting wound up. There appear to be dry spots on some clothes. They allude to this in the instructions.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Proper loading and sorting are extremely important to ensure optimum wash performance and to prevent tangling. We're happy to help with this. We recommend that items are loaded loosely and evenly in the tub around the agitator, and avoid overloading the unit for the best wash performance. While the 'Auto' water level is best for most loads and general washing, you can manually select the water level for specialty items if desired where you want to ensure a larger water level is applied. However, this is a high-efficiency washing machine. This system requires less water overall while providing effective cleaning action. You may notice that the water level is lower than on your previous washer. This is normal operation. You can find images depicting the water level versus the clothes level on page 15 of the manual here: https://products-salsify.geappliances.com/image/upload/s--KwZy14Zw--/o60hz6zrissnlkutq8qc.pdf

I really like my new washer! Great capacity, simple button and dials system that is easy to understand, actual buttons that push easily, Gets the clothes nice and clean. I like the soak feature on the "whites" cycle.
I have only had this washer for roughly about 3.5 months. The inside of my washer drum has started to rest the entire way around. I do not use bleach, I don't use fabric softener. I just use plain old detergent and laundry beads. Today remove my laundry and noticed dark shadows and, got a video of rust spots the entire way around my water drum. This didn't not happen with my old washer at all, I haven't even had half a year.

We are glad to assist with the drum of your washer. We see that a service appointment has been scheduled and we are confident the issue will be resolved by a Bodewell technician.
I bought with desperation. Its a very loud machine. The controls are weird and when trying to wash on delicate the water is blistering hot even when set on cold. That sucks. Washes good otherwise and clothes get clean but would be nice to have all functions

We are more than happy to provide guidance with this washer. We strongly advise checking your water inlet valves to ensure they are properly connected, as it is not normal for blistering hot water to enter the tub when the cold option is selected. If your valves are properly connected, service is advised. You can schedule an appointment with a Bodewell technician by calling 833-4BODEWELL (833-426-3393) or schedule online at https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm
I am very disappointed with the difficulty of registering my new ge appliance online.

Great, simple, quiet clothes washer. It is easy to install. For my four-member family, it is the right capacity. I recommend this product to those who start a life away from home.
