Not a happy customer

Less than a month old and already had to call in for repairs. The drum wouldn't spin. Been waiting on a part for over a week now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

LOUD OBNOXIOUS GRINDING and THUMPING

The washer does a fine job cleaning clothes. But...and this is a big but!--it makes a VERY LOUD grinding sound for the first ten or so minutes of the cycle--not to be believed! As in, door closed and you can hear it from far-away rooms. I called to have someone come out to look at it, feeling for sure it was defective. They are coming in about a week. But from all my reading online, apparently this is just how the machine is.

It washes clothes fine. But it is so completely different than any other washer that I have had.
There is no instruction manual with it. There is Newsprint Quick Guide that has 4 pages of "Using the washer"

It is a water waster - you fill it and get interrupted with something and if you don't get back to it right away it empties the water out and you have to start over - how are you supposed to soak things if it empties the water out.
All of my others washers let you fill them - leave the lid open and you could soak things - no can do
