Water Levels = Cleaner Clothes

Good product. Cleans clothes excellent. knobs are chintzy but serviceable. Love the water level selection. With my former "auto-fill" washer I always felt the clothes were dirty even after washing. This washer gives me my whiter whites and brighter colors. Thank you.

I have only used this washer three times so far but everything is good. I prefer not having a bunch of bells and whistles on a washer and this one fits the bill. My last one (different brand) only lasted 2 years and 11 months. They are mostly throw away now days as they are too expensive to get repaired. This is my first Hotpoint , will see how things go but so far everything is good.

Love this machine, tub is large for large loads and so easy to operate.

I got this on 10-30-2025 and was pleased for several days then had to call for service on it because it got out of balance just about every other load( and yes I know the importance of distributing my clothes evenly ) I thought the machine would work better without the tall agitator but not the case , company sent a part to my home before a repairman ever showed up, so apparently this has been a problem with other machines like this and now I’m at my wits end because I am sick and tired of sitting in my kitchen having to babysit my machine because it still gets out of balance all the time And the bad part is The lid locks and I can’t get it to quit banging against my dryer, even though I push the button or unplug it, until IT IS READY TO STOP ON ITS OWN. This drives me batty. I want a different machine. The short agitator was supposed to be better as it would just be more room for my clothes. NOT !!!! I NEVER OVER LOAD. SO I KNOW THAT’S NOT THE PROBLEM. I AM CALLING AMERICA HOME SHIELD TOMORROW BECAUSE I CAN’T HANDLE THIS ANYMORE AND I’M NOT PAYING THEM A FEE TO COME OUT WHEN THIS IS YOUR PROBLEM WITH YOUR MACHINES IT IS DEFINITELY STILL UNDER WARRANTY. I KEPT THINKING AND THINKING IT IS GOING TO CORRECT ITSELF, BUT IT DOES NOT. I KNOW THIS IS NOT THE REVIEW YOU WANT BUT WHEN SOMETHING WORKS REALLY WELL I’LL BE VERY HAPPY TO GIVE YOU A GOOD REVIEW.

Basic but well worth the buy.

I bought this washer after my old one gave up the ghost. I love that the lid does not lock during the wash and rinse cycle. There is nothing digital just knobs so less that can go wrong. Dials are straight forward and so easy to use. the spin cycle is strong and makes drying time so much shorter. Would definitely recommend.
