Washer does a good job of washing, but it is loud and vibrates excessively in SPIN cycle despite appearing to be level. Professionally installed.

Perfect for us

Replacing our old washing/dryer was long overdue. This HotPoint washer/dryer were within our price range, do the job nicely, and are simple to operate. While we appreciate those machines with 128 possible combinations of washing and drying, HotPoint is perfect for those of us who just want "wash" and "dry" without too many options.

I've had it for less than 30 days and it started making a very annoying sound. The appliances store came out, ran it through is tests. Came out that the pump was faulty. Part ordered.. Unable to use it. I wish they could just bring me another one but that's not going to happen. I'm stuck with this one hoping when the pump is replaced, all is good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
