I knew when I purchased my Hotpoint washer that it was an older model. Because I was worried about my sweat pants strings getting caught underneath the agitator so I had to double knot my drawstring on every single pair of shorts pants & sweatshirts but the way it's agitator is made is extremely well because there's not any room at the bottom of the agitator for the string to get caught as I have experienced all my life... I'm so so happy about this little detail.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This washer has issues the water fill valve has problems operating properly therefore does not wash rinse and spin out with out getting off balance every time no matter what cycle I choose so aggregated with it

We'd like to assist with your washer's out of balance occurrences. It’s extremely important that the washer is properly leveled and all 4 leveling legs are firmly on an even floor space. This will help to reduce out of balance occurrences during the cycle. Additionally, it’s important that the tub is loaded evenly, with the weight of the load equally distributed. Unbalanced loads can cause increased vibration, and therefore, cause the washer to move. First wash and machine shaking a lot should not be vibrating and very noisy washing clothes

We'd like to help with your washer's sound level and the vibrations occurring during the cycle. We recommend ensuring your washer is level, as an unlevel unit may cause vibrating and increase the sound level during operation. Additionally, please ensure the shipping material has been removed.
