Water levels

I’m mostly satisfied with washer. The only issue I have is the water levels. Why such a large wash tub when you really have no control over water levels. I have to wash every load as a large load to get a sufficient amount of water. If this is an about conserving water, , what concerns me is the effect it has on my clothing etc. For example, overloading washer can cause wear and tear on items being washed.
I would recommend this to a friend!
