Response from geappliances.comBy Michael, GE_Appliances, September 27, 2024
We’re thrilled to hear your new washer has been working so well, and that it’s been such a good fit for your family. We love being able to add up to 26 extra gallons of water at the touch of a button, and the heavy-duty agitator provides powerful cleaning while still being gentle on clothing.

First New Machine in 30-years

Unpacked easily...unexpectedly found that the washer had about two cups of water in it when the "red" plug was removed. Will require some familiarization with all the various settings.

We got this washer to replace an old washer that was breaking down. It works well and cleans the clothes well. I like how big the washing basket is so I can now wash blankets and comforters without cramming them in. It runs quietly and I like the cold plus function since we only use cold water to wash our clothes.
