My old washer quit on me. Looked at many new ones and decided on this Hotpoint. Always liked this brand. My old washer was 38 years old. Small and very few settings. Like all the wash options on this machine.

Very deep stainless steel drum. But you can turn it, so that short people like me can reach the clothes in the bottom.

Great washer. Old washer was over 25 years old and worked fine but the pull and push button broke and at that age decited was time to move to the newer model.

So disappointed in my Hotpoint washer

My six-month-old Hotpoint washer is truly worthless. Sure it has a 4 cubic ft. drum capacity but the motor which dpins the drum is not adequate. I constantly have to redistribute even small loads. A 21 x 34“ cotton bathmat with no rubber backing simply could not be spun dry by my washer. I finally had to take it out, put it between thick layers of bath towels and stomp the water out with my own body weight. I will never buy a Hotpoint appliance again
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
