Good for clothes, Not for towels and blankets

It gets the clothes clean, but struggles with towels and blankets. It is very finicky if the load is slightly out of balance and will stop the wash cycle for you to fix it, which is good to protect the machine but it would be nice if the shock absorbers were a little stronger to prevent the load from stopping in the first place. The plastic at the top of the drum cracked in the first 90 days as well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
