Hot point washing machine

We have set the water level to auto but a few clothes still have white spots on them using one pod. We have tried the medium water setting but it seems like the water level is not enough to cover the clothes.

We are happy to provide guidance with this washer. Over the years, the amount of allowable water usage has been reduced. With washers using less water and energy, you will no longer see a wash basket full of water. Most washers, including this one, are now programmed with load sensing to adjust water levels based on the cycle and load size, so the amount of water used will vary. If you prefer more water in your wash cycle, we advise using the High or Max water setting.

It’s taking me a little while to understand how the controls work. It’s not explained that well in the manual. Other than that, I’m happy with this purchase.
