Had a lot of trouble leveling washer if you were just a hair off the washer would jump all over the place during the spin cycles . Don’t like the low water level wash cycles should have been optional. Should have come with self leveling legs like all previous washes I’ve own. if I could I could trade it for a different model I would

We are going to pass your feedback about the legs over to our product team. This way we can start looking for improvements we can implement going forward. Thanks again for sharing.
We bought this washer a week and half ago and I very happy with the performance. Not a lot of bells and whistles, but just what we wanted and performs great!!!!
Chose this washer from several others proferred by AHS, my home warranty company. It is a replacement for our GE washer that failed (transmission) after many years of service. This Hotpoint has lots of bells and whistles, and only one noticeable issue: the start of the Spin cycle is very loud while nothing seems to be moving. Not sure if it's a design flaw or just the way it works. It does a great job of washing the clothes, can easily hand large bulky blankets and bedspreads. The Spin cycle is very good, removing more water than the GE did. Like that it has very simple modern controls implementing LED lights.
My washer that was 19 years old died. This replaced it. It is taking a bit of getting used to, especially the water levels. It gets the job done.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We have a GE hotpoint dryer that works great so we bought a ge hotpoint washer when our old machine broke. I’m not sure why the company changed washers so radically but I wish they had stuck to the old design! This washer sounds like a dying animal when it’s washing. It becomes unbalanced very frequently no matter how much care I take to distribute the clothes evenly. It spins for such a long time that for the first week I thought it had to be broken! My friend bought the same brand and told me that it was normal for this machine to spin sometimes 30 or 40 minutes!! How this is saving energy is beyond me. My clothes do come out clean but I’d be happy if I had my old washer back! Super disappointed.

I like that I can open the lid and add -that 1 toddler sock- that always gets dropped, after the washer has started. The machine is a little loud though.
