[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only used this washing machine 4 times since having it, and it began to have a problem at the end of the cycle with indicator lights staying on after the wash had concluded the 3rd and 4th times. This may not be a significant issue, but it is a concern for me as this is a brand new machine that is already malfunctioning.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We would like to clarify some information regarding the indicator lights of your unit. The cycle lights staying on after the wash ends is normal for this model, as it doesn't have an end-of-cycle signal.

Not your mother's washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the big size tub, however what good is the large tub when you can only put a small load in due to it becoming off balance during the spin cycles. I should not have to adjust loads each time I wash with a new machine. If I'm not nearby when it happens it shuts off, and I think it is finished only to find a lump of dripping wet clothes and then have to use the "drain and spin cycle". I repeat "THIS IS A NEW MACHINE". Yes, I know it is a high efficiency therefore water is limited, but I would like for my clothes to be clean, I washed a load of towels, and they came out horrible not completely cleaned, (I used the heavy cycle-whites). How is water being saved if I have to rewash several times?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very noisy machine

Fabulous Washer

It definitely offers a variety of cycles and, in the past two months, I have no complaints with its performance. If I were to find something to complain about, it would be the spinning cycle - it could be less noisy.

Love our new washer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A complete step up from the Amana unit we had before. More cycles than we know what to do with! It's only .5 cubic feet larger than the old one, but it seems so much bigger. Perfect for just the 2 of us. Easy to figure out and use, and very quiet compared to our old one. Doing laundry is actually pleasant again.
