New washer not working!

Brand new washer and first load the washer did not work properly, would not advance out of wash cycle. Waiting two days for a service tech. Not acceptable being it is a new washer! Should be some sort of credit for the inconvenience.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quit working after 3 Washes in 5 days

Easy setup. Washed 3 medium loads. Did great. Only installed for 5 days 4 load it will not start. Tired all the reset tips. Nothing. Can't say I would recommend. If it only last for 3 washes.

Not worth the price.

Haven’t had the washer 2 weeks and already having issues. Very loud. No matter the water level, clothes consistently are thrown to one side which causes the basket to be off balance. Will not finish a full cycle before shutting off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Terrible product

Terrible … don’t buy. The washer machine was not working correctly on the day that it was installed. The computer gets stuck in the final spin mode and won’t quit spinning after 25 mins we stopped it.

We recommend resetting your washer by disconnecting power from the unit for 2 - 3 minutes and reconnecting power. If this reset does not revert the unit back to normal operating function, this will require service by a qualified technician. Never again..

I loved this washing machine when I first got it. Just recently the machine has been off balance so bad when I do a load of 2 towels. The way it shakes and jumps all over my laundry room is crazy. My daughter’s bed sheet/pee pad (she’s a toddler) is always soaking wet still and too heavy to finish the spin cycle apparently. I’m disappointed in it. More loads=more water…more money..

We are sorry to hear you are having this experience with the washer getting out of balance. the unit will try to rebalance itself and the way it does this is to go through a deep rinse routine. It fills the basket up with water and tries to re-distribute the clothes. If the user interrupts this process by pressing Pause, the washer will keep wanting to try to re-balance on its own, ie. filling. Even if you unplug the machine, it knows where it was left off and tries to finish that cycle (think of a momentary loss of power due to a storm). Oversudsing from too much detergent may slow down the final spin cycle, causing a suds lock. We recommend running a load without detergent and see if that helps. If you still have issues, please reach out to GE Consumer Service at 1-800-432-2737.

Stopped functioning in a week yikes!

I liked it for the first couple washes until it stopped spinning and draining. The washer leaves the clothes soaked even when you do the drain and spin cycle. Keeps saying it’s unbalanced even though the washer itself is balanced so the spin never works. Don’t recommend

Piece of junk washer

Broke within 1 month of install. The same model washer this replaced broke after 3 years (called for service twice). Will think twice about buying another GE product

I've had my washer for four months. Within the first month I started noticing problems with the clothes not washing correctly and the spin cycle off. I thought it was just me. So I kept adjusting the load and washing them twice. Now at four months, the washer won't hold water and the clothes still smell after the load is supposedly done.
