Too many options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer is noisier than my old one. It gets out of balance and stops. My old washer had a beeping alert to let me know there was a problem. It also beeped when the cycle ended. I like the capacity other than it being deep and I'm not tall. It's a stretch at times emptying the tub. I need to study up on the controls. There are more cycles and choices than I need. So far it has gotten the clothes clean. I like the bleach dispenser and fabric softener dispenser and it is faster than my old one.

We are more than glad to assist with your washer. We recommend leveling the unit. This will keep the washer sturdy and it also helps with the sound level. To level the washer, adjust the leveling legs by rotating the individual leg in the proper direction for up or down. Unbalanced loads can cause the unit to get off balance. Stop the machine and redistribute the load. The more the legs are extended, the shakier the washer will be during operation. It is normal for the unit to make sounds while agitating. Control not functioning properly

Whenever I try to pause washer to open lid to add something I forgot, it won't immediately respond and unlock lid. It's super irritating. If I were selecting a washer and dryer unit myself, these would not be it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If the lid is closed, the lid will lock only during the load sensing portion of the cycle (when the Auto selection is made or models which do not have a water level selection) and during spin portions of the cycle. The lid will unlock after load sensing and spin.
