Purchased in Dec. 3 months later the washer would not spin or agitate. Setup for a warranty repair, repairman found the bolt to hold the agitator was broken off in the shaft. He checked the belt and it was shredded. This was 2 weeks ago, he scheduled to comeback tomorrow to install new parts.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quiet, cleans very well withe deep water wash settings. The price is very in comparison with other brands, I took the time compare many other washers. GE products are well manufactured and perform better from my own experience.

Very nice basic get down and dirty get it done with out all the fancy stuff washing machine. I love it. Washes excellent, holds a nice amount of clothes. The Controls are easy to use. It makes minimal noise. Has all the cycles that I need. #simple
