Very noisy

It does clean good but it sounds like a churning noise the entire time it washes and rinses. It’s loud!!

Wish I could give it a zero. This machine is junk. Since day one, the water fill soelinoids have been EXTREMELY noisy. Everytime it fills and then shuts off the water it makes a loud enough bang it is heard all over the house (2 story). Sounds like someone hitting the machine very hard. I had GE warranty service come out to look at it. They mistakenly thought it was the four springs on the drum and replaced them. It did not help at all. They ended up telling me the openings in the soelinoids are much smaller than they used to be on washers and there was nothing they can do. So now I am stuck with a washer that makes 4 to six LOUD bangs ever time it's used. Not a happy camper.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have washed 2 loads, one light, one jeans and the performance seems to be excellent. I love the special feature of this machine, giving me the option to add liquid softener or not, which offers an extra rinse cycle. The water levels and other wash options are easy enough that even a busy teen can to understand them. I'm looking forward to many years of use.
