It washes clothes well. Why does it have a lock on it , what’s the purpose. Would have liked a quickie wash feature.

Very complicated to operate. What happen to the load, start, rinse and done? The water level option is crap and what is with the locking lid? no manual overide if it locks down for good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have only had the new washer for a few days now but so far love it !! Love that I can chose my water levels. Tub is a great size and that it agitates so well. My last washer didn't have any of these features !!!
