GE washing machine top load agitator 4.0 capacity

I have used it a few times and am happy with it. Just one complaint-it sometimes starts on its own. If you lift the lid to see if you left something in there, a wash cycle starts. I think it should only start if you push the Start button. It is sensitive to lifting the lid.
