So far so good....we had a Maytag washer for 6 years it started to fail. We did some research and narrowed the field to A GE washer the commercial grade seemed to be the best bet. I'd say it offers a better wash than the Maytag.

I’m pleased with the performance of this washer so far. I love the size capacity and that it still has an agitator post. I had owned a front loader and had issues with it smelling or getting gross from water in the rubber parts. Swapped back to a top loader and I love it. My only concern is about how long it will last and how it will work with my large (king size) bedding pieces. I had really wanted a speed queen product but the capacity size just wasn’t available and this is GE’s response to the speed queen brand in terms of durability it seems. The controls are easy to understand and I like that it doesn’t have too many buttons and more manual knobs instead of electronic based. Happy with the cleaning so far and just hoping it holds up long term.

Perfect washer for my family

Simple and effective. I dislike too many knobs, buttons, and options. Cleaning my clothes shouldn't be made difficult by a complex machine. Excellent timing of cycle means the washer is done quickly. Cleanliness of my clothing is also excellent. Huge washing tub with plenty of room for clothes. A little louder than expected, but acceptable for quality of work.

We're extremely satisfied with our new washer. There is only one suggestion that we would like to offer. If there was an alarm signal to advise the user that the washing is complete it would be very helpful.

In need of a washing machine that was not only simple to use and could handle large loads, but could handle every day use! And I mean EVERY DAY USE! Having 5 adults with many in professional jobs like a mechanic, a nurse and so on, it needed to perform great. The controls are simple to use and understand. The less, the better as far as I’m concerned. I love the speed cycle!!! I think it’s everyone’s favorite 😍…It’s a a little noisy on the spin cycle, but I can just close the door to the laundry room. Besides, it depends on upon the cycle you use anyways. I also went back old skool with a spindle in the center of the machine. Having had previous HE machines w/o the spindles, I never felt the closes got clean. All in all I absolutely love this machine!!!

Very easy to use. High capacity loads with so many other options. Fast running cycles so easy, turnaround time for more loads. Great if you do a lot of laundry and have kids! I had an old washer beforehand so the new sound of washer is a bit getting used to. But overall I like it!
