Becomes unbalanced easily with towels and sheets

Becomes unbalanced easily. Bulky load setting does not prevent unbalancing issue. Previous washing machines never had this problem. Do not recommend.

Best Appliance Purchase Ever!!

I absolutely LOVE my new GE 4.3 cu. ft. washer and gas dryer! This has been one of my favorite appliance purchase so far! I never thought I’d say washing clothes could be fun, but I actually enjoy doing laundry now! 😄
The washer has a HUGE stainless steel inside tub with plenty of extra room for a couple of loads at once or a king size comforter and it washes clothes perfectly even with the agitator in the middle. The manual knobs are much easier and less confusing than the digital knobs. Everything comes out so clean and fresh!!
The gas dryer is quite amazing too—it heats up super fast and dries my clothes so quickly! I’m very impressed with how efficient it is! Everything has been great except I’m really trying to get use to the very loud annoying buzzer on the dryer and it will continue buzzing until you go get your clothes. I’m sure overtime I will get use to it or just get my husband to completely turn it off!
Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend this GE washer and gas dryer combo to anyone looking for a Speed Killer laundry set!!!🥰

Good machine how long will it last?

Overall, the GE Model # GTW525ACW0WB washing machine is decent. To be honest I went to purchase the Maytag Commercial MVWP586GW however was out of stock and had a smaller load capacity at 3.8. Came across this GE Model and has slightly larger tub at 4.3 cu. ft. and has "some" commercial components although not sure what that really means. Motor has a 10 yr warranty. This machine allows for manual selection of the water level and an agitator which was a requirement. When leveled properly there is no vibration although the machine seems very loud however am able to shut the laundry room door. The machine does come with hoses which is a good thing if you need them. I would have preferred more of a commercial machine however this seems to get the clothes clean.

Love the agitator & being able to open the top at pause. Huge tub. Does not always extract completely for heavier items. Overall, fits our needs.

Your new washer will likely make sounds that are different from those made by your prior machine. These include clicks, water flowing, gear sounds followed by pauses, and electric hum sounds. These are normal and not cause for concern.
