Im very pleased with my GE washer. It seems to be well made and durable. It does a great job using the selected water levels or the auto water level. It has plenty of cycles to choose from.

So far so good. Washing great, no noise no “walking” around. It was leveled to the floor with legs screwed all the way to the fame. No bouncing around as its spins. Can’t hear the washer from 10 feet away even if I want to. Large capacity big enough for family of 4. Drum is so big that bought a grabber for laundry items placed on the bottom. You can decide how much water to use to have your laundry done the way you want to not the government. Normal cycle run ~50 minutes. Easy to use with 3 knobs. Find a way to do pre-soaking of laundry with Lysol germs & Covid 19 killer with quick rinse & spin function (wish it was there “pre-soak”) Just load the laundry in, put some Lysol disinfectant directly to the drum on the top of a load & let the machine feel with water, once it’s full just press the pause button & hold on for 20 minutes. Needs 15+ minutes to disinfect. Then press the start button again & let the machine finish it (rinse & drain) After this you can select your regular wash cycle to wash these items. Basket is solid unpainted stainless steel so nothing to peel off. The agitator is dual function with softener cup on the top of it. Not advisable to use softener instead using Lysol disinfectant is better, more practical & healthier. There is separate spot for bleach in the lower left corner of the machine. That’s about it. Hope this helps. With light laundries this machine will last probably 20+ years if treated & cared for right.
How to level the machine? Easy, only the front 2 legs need to be adjusted to your needs (best to screw them all the way to the frame) & the back legs will adjust & lock automatically after the machine is tilted forward 4-6” & lowered back to the floor. They will level themselves up to the front legs & locked in so the washer standstill & it’s stable. Won’t move, none.

Basket is large so I can do high capacity loads. Enough cycles for my needs. I like that it shuts off when cycle is complete.

Chose this washer because it wasn't "smart" and I could just set the water level; my last washer didn't even get everything wet. So nice to just set the water level and temperature and push the "on" button. So easy. The run time seems OK too. The agitator limits the load size, but that's an acceptable trade-off for dependability.

Good that I purchased the commercial grad machine. Hoping functions better abb by d lasts longer. So far so good. Last lessor machine wouldn’t balance well and needed replacement within 5 years

I have to tell you that I am very DISsatisfied with this purchase. I read all the instruction diligently before using the washer, following all recommendations. I did not overload the washer, as was always my habit. BUT the dark loads came out with lint all over the clothes. Most of it would not come out with a lint roller, or when I even tried to scratch it off. I methodically had to try various ways to make it work. The only solution was to load a lot less clothes in the washer, and add extra rinse cycle... and this is supposed to be an energy efficient machine!

Overloading can prevent lint from being flushed away during the washing process as well as increase the effect of clothes rubbing against one another and generating lint.
