GTX38EASW0WS installed 11/14/25, fails to heat yesterday 02/14/26. Three months in use, already has failed? Future doesn't look bright...

We are sorry to hear that your dryer stopped heating. We recommend unplugging the unit for 5 minutes and plugging it back in. If the unit still won't heat, please schedule a service appointment with a Bodewell technician by calling 833-426-3393 or schedule online at https://www.bodewell.com/schedule-repair-service

We've only done two loads of laundry, but it worked just fine for both loads, so Excellent rating at this point. Only time will truly tell.

Keep the old one!

Well all things considered we should have had our old dryer fixed instead of buying this unit. It's much cheaper with no lights and far less options. We made a mistake. Should have stayed with the older unit.

Small Dryers May Cost More to Run.

Although my new GE dryer is basically the same dimensions outside as my previous GE (because both washer and dryer are in a closet), the inside seems smaller. It takes 80 minutes to dry a load of clothes or a load of towels. I’m very disappointed. Just wish I had more room for a larger and better dryer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We want to help you with your dryer taking too long to dry. We recommend sorting your load properly, thick, heavy, bulky fabrics need more dry time than lightweight fabrics. Additionally, we recommend cleaning the lint filter every load.
