Very dissatisfied

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I set the oven for a temperature that is stated in a recipe, the food takes up to 20% longer to cook compared to the suggested time in the recipe and the time I have used previously on the same recipe. This is worse when there is more than one cookie sheet in the oven. I checked the temperature via an oven thermometer, which provided an accurate temperature but I am unsure why this oven is so slow. The convection is worthless; the dish took more than 30% longer than stated in the recipe. The air fryer is also worthless- simply roasting is no different than the air fryer setting

Great Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this to replace a 30 year old Whirlpool oven. I did not realize how outdated the old oven was til we started using this one! No more burnt on top and not done in middle rolls. This one seems to preheat quicker and cooks everything more even. We've had it a month now and extremely pleased so far!
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the worst oven we have ever owned. We have had problems with the oven cooling over 100 degrees below the setting. The oven temp is too inaccurate for baking.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We apologize for the concerns that you are experiencing with your Wall Oven. This quick guide will help you sort out why your wall oven is running cooler than it should, even after you've tried calibrating it, so you can get back to perfect baking results.Easy Checks & Fixes 1. Don't open the Door Every time you peek, a ton of heat escapes, dropping the temperature. Tip: Keep the door shut as much as possible. Use the oven light to check on your food .2. Give It Time to Preheat Don't rush it! Your oven needs to finish its full preheating cycle before you put the food in. Wait for the preheat beeping sound or indicator light—that's your signal it's actually at the right temperature. 3. Double-Check Your Settings Make sure you've selected the correct cooking mode (like Bake) and the temperature you really want. If you're unsure about the modes, take a quick look at your Owner's Manual. 4. No Foil on the Racks! Seriously, don't cover the racks or the oven floor with aluminum foil or liners. That blocks the heat from circulating properly, creating cold spots and screwing up your temperature accuracy. 5. Maybe a Small Temperature Tweak? If your baking is still off, you might need to slightly adjust the oven's temperature offset. Our Suggestion: Try a formal Bake Performance Test first. Your Owner's Manual will walk you through the official calibration, which usually allows an adjustment of up to ±35°F/±19°C.6. Check Your Temperature Units (°F vs. °C)
Just confirm the display shows °F (Fahrenheit) instead of °C (Celsius). Celsius numbers (max operating temp is around 260°C) are much lower, which can make you think the oven is running cold when it's not. Check your Owner's Manual on how to switch the display mode. 7. Power Check - Is It Strong Enough? If the power supply isn't right, the heating element can't pull the juice it needs. Must Do: Make sure the oven's electrical hookup matches the voltage and amperage on the appliance rating plate. Ovens rated 7.3-9.6 kW at 240V (or 5.5-7.2 kW at 208V) need a 40-amp dedicated circuit. Ovens rated 7.2 kW and under at 240V (or 5.4 kW and under at 208V) need a 30-amp dedicated circuit. Check your Installation Instructions. If you suspect a power problem, call a qualified electrician to check it out. Not what I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The oven is not what I expected.... I'm not sure what I expected except that it would bake like my old oven. I have to be very careful not to have my cookie sheet slide clear back to the back because food will brown faster back there than up front. The oven door is an auto closer so you just bring it up about 4 inches from the oven and it will automatically close. If I try and close it myself it hits on the upper right side of the oven and we've checked several times and the oven is level in the cabinet. Also the timer is VERY VERY QUIET, I don't know how to get it louder. I would say the only thing I love about the oven is the blue interior and the big clear oven window. LOVE LOVE those.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We apologize for the concerns that you are experiencing with your Wall Oven. How to Improve Baking Performance in Your KitchenAid Oven If you're not achieving the desired baking results, there are several steps you can take. For optimal baking, consistent heat is vital. Preheating is Essential Always let the oven fully preheat until the signal sounds. Placing food in a cold oven causes poor rise and uneven cooking. The standard preheat time to 350°F is 12-15 minutes. Always trust the oven's signal over a timer. Bakeware Matters Pan material dictates heat absorption and browning: Light/Shiny Aluminum: Reflects heat for lighter, softer crusts (ideal for cookies, cakes). Dark/Nonstick: Absorbs heat quickly, leading to darker, crisper crusts. Reduce temperature by 25°F (15°C) if using. Glass/Ceramic: Retains heat effectively; can cause darker bottoms. Size: Use the exact size specified in the recipe. Airflow is Key Obstructions create "hot spots" and uneven results. Clearance: Ensure a minimum of 2 inches (5 cm) of open space around all sides of the pan(s) and the oven walls. Multi-Pan: Pans must not touch each other or the oven walls. Minimize items for best results. Correct Rack Position Use a single rack whenever possible for balanced results. Top: For broiling and crisp top crusts, use this position to get maximum heat from the upper element. Center: This is the standard position for most baked goods (cakes, cookies, breads) as it offers the most balanced heat from the top and bottom elements. Bottom: Use this for roasting large items or for getting crisp bottom crusts (e.g., deep-dish pies), as it concentrates heat from the lower element. Multiple: If using more than one rack, distribute them evenly (e.g., Position 2 and 4). This may increase cooking time and require pan rotation, but helps maintain air circulation. New 27" single wall oven w/convection & air fryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this oven for several months now. Still getting used to all the settings and using the air fryer. I'm replacing another KitchenAid 27" oven with Convection setting which I loved. I'm still learning this new oven. I do find the door seems a lot bigger then my old oven which makes getting things in and out a little harder. It does have a very nice roll out shelf and I moved that into the most used position which makes it a little easier for removing food. Very nice looking. My first stainless appliance. I love the lighting in the oven. Very bright. Like I said still feeling my way with the new cooking options and settings. I hate that they don't have a good user manual with the appliance. You have to do everything on line with everything it seems now a day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Extremely pleased with this oven. Can't believe how quickly it preheats. I love the smooth gliding rack with handles. Overall great user friendly oven, just wish it would have come with a manual and/or air fryer cookbook.
