Terrific, innovative product design.love it!

Such an innovative product. Great options for art, love the ability to customize matting and change outside frame. Have mine mounted on the wall. During the day our room is quite bright and both the TV and movie streams shine through well. It’s easy to adjust screen brightness more if needed. The screen resolution and colors are excellent. I have an old Sonos soundbar connected by optical audio. I can’t change volume of my Sonos speakers connected to the TV via soundbar with the Samsung remote. It’s not that I haven’t tried with Samsung settings to deal with this. It’s that the old soundbar doesn’t use HDMI’s. I’m told that the latest Sonos soundbar will fix this. Have ordered it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor sound

The picture is fine but the sound is muffled and hard to understand on some stations. All of my other televisions have better sound. I use closed captions on this tv.

Thank you for purchasing Samsung's Frame TV and for your feedback on the sound. To ensure you’ve got the latest sound quality updates, please confirm that your TV is up to date with the latest firmware version. You can check by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.

If the sound is still not to your liking after updating firmware, there are several sound settings you can adjust to suit your personal preferences.

• Sound Modes may better meet your personal preferences. Go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > Sound > Sound Mode, or Expert Settings to fine-tune and customize your sound.

• Adaptive Sound will also further optimize sound quality by analyzing the viewing space and the acoustic components of the content. Go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Intelligent Mode Settings.

Should you choose to add a Samsung Soundbar to your TV, please know that our Q- and S-Series Soundbars (such as the HW-S800D) feature Q-Symphony which will synchronize with the speakers of your TV for an immersive 3D sound experience.

Great TV but settings interface could be better

The Frame TV is as advertised. It looks beautiful on the wall and the picture is really great. The reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is the interface and submenus. They are not intuitive and it is difficult to find what you are looking for. For example, it took me three days to find the right setting for HDMI connection audio. I was getting video but no audio. On line help was unable to solve it. I finally found buried deep in the settings the menu to change to PCM audio so it would sync.

I previously had a 43 inch frame tv and loved it. However the new technology on the newer models was so much better I thought. I really loved the ability to put my own photos on the tv. But the 55 inch does not allow me to get the aspect ratio correct for viewing. I am very disappointed in this part of the tv. The tv itself is great.

Beautiful but bad connectivity

I bought this tv because my previous one died and while I wanted a tv in that room I really liked how this tv looked like art.
While it doesn’t really look like art often it can if you choose the right pictures and of course the right frame. It’s expensive but beautiful.
My biggest complaint is the connectivity. The flat tv then obviously has a cord and a large black box that connects to WiFi. Until this tv I’ve never had internet connectivity issues especially since the rougher is less than ten feet away. EVERY TIME I turn the tv on from the resting picture, the internet connection is lost and I have to unplug the tv and restart it. Extremely frustrating and I wish the black box was smaller, it’s extremely large and difficult to hide. All the pictures selling this product don’t show the cord or the box and that is deceiving.
All in all if you have the money and like the look it’s worth it but if you really watch tv often the connectivity issues may not make it worth your efforts.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thank you for sharing your experience with Wi-Fi connectivity on your TV. This may be caused by a network issue. You might want to go through these steps to check your network connection:

1) Minimize interference by not using or turning off wireless devices. Also, verify that there are no obstacles between the TV and the modem or access point. (Wi-Fi strength can be decreased by appliances, cordless phones, stone walls/fireplaces, etc.)

2) If the wireless connection fails, connect the TV to the access point via a LAN cable. If the TV can connect to the Internet normally via the wired connection, there might be a problem with the access point. In this case, try using a different access point.

3) Perform a network test to check if there is a network problem. Press the Home button on your remote. Navigate to Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis> Smart Hub Connection Test

4) Try a cold reboot of your TV by pressing and holding the power button for 5+ seconds until the TV turns off and on again.

5) Please also be sure you have the latest firmware update. You may want to enable automatic updates for convenience. Select Settings > Support > Software Update, then select Auto Update.

Slow and cumbersome

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Among many I do not like, the non-standard applications must be search for each time as opposed to the woke standard applications such as Disney, which is never used. I would not purchase or recommend a Frame TV.

Love my purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I moved and needed a TV for my great room. Bought this as my friend had purchased one and really liked it, so I did.
Love the sleekness, and the box that is reachable for plugging HDMI cables etc into. Although I was unable to mount like a picture frame it is on a mounting bracket above my fireplace and looks great. The ability to add photos and make it look a framed photo is amazing. The picture quality is Samsung great, I know own 3 Samsung TVs, and will never buy anything else. I have lots of windows, and I get no glare on the TV screen at any time of day, not sure there is another product on the market that can beat Samsung. You won't be disappointed if you purchase this TV.
