It is still not possible to hide a volume indicato

Like all Samsung TVs, it still has the problem with not being able to hide volume indicator! It still pops up even when it is completely useless (when my AVR already shows volume on the screen, while Samsung shows a big ugly + and - indicator on the left side, that takes about half of the screen). I'm returning this as Samsung is not able to add a simple flag to their Settings page that would just say "Hide volume indicator".
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wires!
on May 27, 2025

What is the point of an “art TV” when it requires a wire to a huge black box to function. I had the outlet and Ethernet port moved to directly behind the tv so it would actually look like art but there’s a stupid (necessary) box that requires a wire! Completely misrepresented on the website.

Hello Angry,
We're sorry to hear of this misunderstanding. The Frame TV comes with a One Connect Box, allowing you to connect your components to one separate box, not to the back of the TV. Your TV is connected to the One Connect Box with the One Invisible Connection – a translucent cable allowing you to place your TV accessories wherever works best for you.

Great, when it works.

Looks fantastic in art mode. Looks good as a TV. Does not handle bright rooms well or viewing from side angles. Interface is clunky and not at all intuitive. Very slow processor, apps taking a very long time to load. Settings are lacking in options and many settings conflict with each other. Many bugs. TV often turns on by itself frequently, even after master reset. Flush mount is amazing and suprisingly easy to install. A beautiful, quality display....limited by clunky software and slow processor.

jbigg,
We appreciate your feedback on the response time, and for optimal performance, we ask that you please ensure you've got the latest firmware version installed on your TV. You can check this by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
You may also want to further optimize performance with the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees up unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care
I hope these tips help. You can always contact us for further help at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Our LiveChat agents are also available by clicking on the ‘Support’ link on our website.

Art on the wall, rather than a big black rectangle

Beautiful picture. Art mode is stellar. Matte antiglare is perfect for rooms with a lot of windows. Also it was a pleasant surprise to find that the remote charges on its own with the little solar panel.
I do wish the solar panel was on the front, so the remote doesn't have to lay face down on the side table, but that's a very minor thing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amazing picture and wonderful picture frame perfor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 55" frame was an excellent replacement for my previous Samsung TV. I basically purchased it for the frame feature and it did nit disappoint. I used the free pictures and dowloaded my own. Maybe thousands more through subscription if interested. As a regular tv, it is also great for daily use. The menues and settings require a learning curve. Overall, Im very satisfied with this tv.

The Perfect TV
on December 4, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first Frame TV and I love it! The art aspect is a nice feature but what I really love is that it is so unobtrusive. With the slim mount wall hangers and the extremely thin wire coming from the back of the TV to it's separate Input/Power/Control "box" it literally looks like it's nothing more than a painting hanging on the wall.
I have it mounted above my desk in the office. It allows me to view it while at my desk or from my recliner across the room. It has a very robust set of features that I make use of all the time. I use it as an additional monitor on my iMac via the AirPlay option, when I want to jump into a quick game I'll use the integrated Xbox Game Pass interface for cloud gaming. I also use it as a monitor for my physical Xbox. Last but not least I use it as a TV and a Streaming Device.
One of the nicest features I love is the separate "box" they refer to as the "One box". It is a rectangular unit that's approximately 12 inches long, 3 inches high and 4 inches deep. I have it sitting on a bookcase down and to the left of the TV. It has inputs for Ethernet, 4 HDMI ports, power and the connector to the TV itself. That connection is a long thin (about the thickness of pencil lead) clear cable that provides access to all the inputs, power, etc for the TV. It makes the TV look like there is almost nothing connected to it.
If you are looking for a multi-use TV/Streaming/Gaming device you can't go wrong with one of the Frame TV's.
