Samsung Frame TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am super excited and pleased with Samsung’s new 2024 Frame Television! We replaced our older Samsung TV over our fireplace with the new 55” model. My first reaction is one of astonishment over how close this TV sets to the wall. With only 3mm separating it and the wall, it truly looks like a piece of art!
We had our TV installed by a professional as the the recessed electrical outlet needed to be relocated to permit the Samsung bracket to be installed in a specific location. Once the brackets were installed, hanging the TV was a breeze. Once hung, the only other setup item was connecting the One Connect Box. Setup using the SmartThings app was very straight forward and easy. I was a bit hesitant about having a wireless connect box, but after several days of usage, there has been no connection or latency issues. This box is a game changer! All inputs plug directly into the One Connect Box, and it is transmitted directly to the TV!

Picture is ok - skip the auto features.

Connectivity to my Fios WiFi failed - had to set up separate router to use Q symphony wirelessly (sound bar and music frame). TV sometimes “forgets” that Fios mini is connected. Have to power cycle Fios - hard to do when all boxes are packed away behind tv inside wall box

I own 2 Frame TVs. I have one in my living room and one in my bedroom. I absolutely love them! I’ve received many compliments on the “art” on my walls. When people find out they are tvs they are surprised. I love the art and entertainment concept. Good job Samsung!

Great TV, but dissapointing software

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a 75" Frame TV in 2021 and loved how it worked. There was only one problem with the eARC HDMI port, while my other Samsung TVs in the house interface flawlessly with my SONOS system, with the Frame, I always had to increase the volume from around 2.0 to around 6.5 to get the equivalent volume of the other Samsungs which also had eArc ports.
Otherwise, we loaded some of our own artwork, and the software worked flawlessly, always turning on when someone was in the room, going through its slideshow, and going to sleep at night.
Then after three years, the colors on the left quarter of the TV started fading. After a few weeks, they had almost become black and white. The house is off the ocean, in a remote area to hard to service, so we trashed it and ordered another 75" Frame, but this time, it is a 2024 model.
This one has the same volume problems as the previous one, but in addition, the sensors seem to be of very poor quality as it half the time it does not come out of sleep mode and simply stays dark – not very useful. I must use the remote to turn it on and off to get the slideshow started. This is most annoying and reduces the value of having the TV to display art.
Also, we loaded the same 50 photos, which is an annoying low limit, but this time, there are 4 of the 50 that have a resolution of 3024x1701 instead of 4032x2268. Unfortunately, these 4 photos appear with a white frame around them while the 46 others are frameless. The 2021 did not do this!

Awesome TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely love this TV. We have it over our fireplace in our family room and use it for streaming movies, shows and sports. I saw this before we remodeled our family room and fell in love with it. The thing I love is that I can change the pictures on the frame with each season and holiday. The color and the details of the paintings are so realistic. We have fooled so many people when they come over. They always ask us we’re are TV is. We love it!!! It is so fun!!
