The remote box is not worth it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the frame TV for about a year had a lot of issues with it. That always required it to be restarted. The problem is in order to restart it. You have to remove it from the wall because the control box is behind the wall.
I’ve since bought a different brand of frame TV and the box that needs to be built into the wall is not required for this brand same picture same quality easier to install.

You may also want to further optimize performance with the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees up unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care

Massive piece of junk

This product is a laughable piece of junk. One of the worst products of any kind that I’ve ever purchased and easily the worst TV - and that includes super cheap value brands like Dynex, Insignia, TCL, etc.
This overpriced garbage didn’t work as advertised from day 1. UI is terrible. “Art mode” is always maxed out in brightness, no matter how many times we adjusted it, so nobody will be fooled into thinking this is anything other than a terrible TV. Constantly glitches or because unresponsive to remote inputs. Eventually we had to just hook up an external Roku but even that became useless when the volume stopped working on the remote. Samsung support is completely useless - their first suggestion is to download an update on your PC and then install it via thumb drive…ridiculous in 2025. Regardless, it didn’t work. Then with regards to the volume button, their support recommended that I “try pushing the volume button up to increase the volume.” Can’t wait to take a sledgehammer to this thing once my new TV arrives.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love no cords

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the fact there is no visible cords. Hate the fact that to get art you have to subscribe as personal photos just don’t look as good. Also to get a nice frame for it is extremely expensive especially after one has already paid premium price for the tv. I bought the tv as a gift to family member. In hindsight I would purchase a nice tv and have it professionally installed to hide the cords and save a bundle of money.

Wished it sounds as good as it looks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Frame looks exquisite … the picture quality and art collection are both amazing. Unfortunately, the sound is substandard and made worse by the tendency of the volume to suddenly amplify for a few seconds before going quiet. The fix requires navigating a labyrinth of settings and “advanced” settings required each time you turn it on! Seems like Samsung knows about it but does not provide a software patch. Ugh!

Thank you for purchasing Samsung's Frame TV and for your feedback on the sound. To ensure you’ve got the latest sound quality updates, please confirm that your TV is up to date with the latest firmware version. You can check by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.

If the sound is still not to your liking after updating firmware, there are several sound settings you can adjust to suit your personal preferences.

• Sound Modes may better meet your personal preferences. Go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > Sound > Sound Mode, or Expert Settings to fine-tune and customize your sound.

• Adaptive Sound will also further optimize sound quality by analyzing the viewing space and the acoustic components of the content. Go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Intelligent Mode Settings.

Should you choose to add a Samsung Soundbar to your TV, please know that our Q-Series Soundbars (such as the HW-S800D) feature Q-Symphony which will synchronize with the speakers of your TV for an immersive 3D sound experience.

Didn't Work After Purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV went out after a few weeks of use. Had to have an actual repairman come to my house and fix it. We were without a TV for a few weeks. This was my very first Samsung product ever. Going back to Sony.

This TV is Amazing!

Visitors seeing the Frame TV are amazed it is not a picture hanging on the wall. Several have gone home and ordered one for their home! Such a nice assortment of pictures to choose from.
