The picture quality is breathtaking—bright, sharp, and full of detail whether I’m watching movies, live sports, or gaming. The colors are vibrant without looking artificial, and the blacks are deep and true, giving it an almost OLED feel but with higher brightness.
Gaming on this TV is a whole new level of immersive. The low input lag and smooth motion make fast-paced games feel seamless, and the 120Hz refresh rate keeps everything buttery smooth.
Sound quality surprised me too—clear, full, and powerful enough that I don’t always need my soundbar. The Smart TV features are fast and intuitive, making it easy to jump between streaming, cable, and apps.
Overall, this TV has become the centerpiece of my home. It’s perfect for movie nights, sports weekends, and everything in between. Samsung really nailed it with the QN90D.

Best TV I’ve Ever Owned — 98” Samsung QN90D

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently picked up the 98-inch Samsung QN90D, and I can confidently say it has completely transformed my viewing experience. The sheer size is incredible — it feels like having a personal movie theater right in my living room.
The Mini LED display delivers stunning brightness and contrast, with deep blacks and rich colors that pop in both dark and bright rooms. Even at this size, the image is razor sharp, and motion is smooth whether I’m watching sports, movies, or gaming.
Setup was straightforward but make no mistake — this is a massive TV. Make sure you have the right space and a strong wall mount or console to support its weight and dimensions. Once it's up, though, it’s the ultimate centerpiece.
Streaming is fast and seamless thanks to Samsung’s Tizen interface, and I had no trouble connecting my devices. Everything just works smoothly.
If you're looking for a TV that delivers true wow factor without stepping into projector territory, the QN90D 98" is worth every penny. Bright, bold, and beautiful — this is easily the best display I’ve ever owned

Excellent picture and good sound

Excellent TV, great brightness great contrast and if something comes very close to OLED like display it has to be this TV.
The speakers are good and the TV can be used without any soundbar, I have the HW Q990D, and Samsung Music Frame so Q-Symphony with this TV just takes the audio experience to the next level.
The OS is fast, takes some time to learn as some options get enabled only when something else is disabled, like picture mode will be enabled only when intelligent mode is disabled.

This is slightly on the heavier side and the center stand makes the 85in screen wobble at the top, this is my only problem with this TV but apart from that super happy with my purchase.

Absolutely incredible TV! I received my 85” QN90D today and set it up and the picture is absolutely amazing, the interface is super quick…I can’t say enough good things about this TV. I wish I had ordered one sooner. I can’t wait for football to start next weekend!

Absolutely STUNNING picture quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had Sony and Samsung TVs exclusively over the last 25 years. It falls down to the software and UX and Samsung has my heart.
The brightness is unreal...absolutely needs some adjustment to mute the color a bit and tone the sun-like brightness down. Overall it's pretty straight forward and a few hours and different content and I'm amazed at the leap from my Plasma back in the day.
Software makes connecting devices for casting or steaming stress-free.
The biggest issue I have...THE REMOTE ...I had a 55" curved 4k Samsung from 2016 and the remote is LIGHTYEARS ahead. Even my Plasma had a touch pad to allow cursor control.
BRING BACK THE CURVED REMOTE!!! The touch controlled mouse was something my Plasma had in 2012...common Samsung 😜
