Great picture quality

Good but not great due to poor sound quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TV has a great picture and the settings and menus are easy to use. I like the fact that all of my apps are easily accessible. The remote, although solar and doesn’t need batteries doesn’t have numbers so you have to scroll through guides to find your channels but it does have voice capabilities. Unfortunately the sound quality is horrendous. You have to purchase a sound bar in order to make the TV usable. If they would figure out a way to put quality speakers in the set it would be a great TV. So. 5 Star for picture quality. 0 stars for sound quality =‘a 3 star rating.

Thank you for purchasing Samsung's QN90D TV and for your feedback on the sound. To ensure you’ve got the latest sound quality updates, please confirm that your TV is up to date with the latest firmware version. You can check by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
If the sound is still not to your liking after updating firmware, there are several sound settings you can adjust to suit your personal preferences.
• Sound Modes may better meet your personal preferences. Go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > Sound > Sound Mode, or Expert Settings to fine-tune and customize your sound.
• Adaptive Sound will also further optimize sound quality by analyzing the viewing space and the acoustic components of the content. Go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Intelligent Mode Settings.
Should you choose to add a Samsung Soundbar to your TV, please know that our Q-Series Soundbars (such as the HW-Q600C) feature Q-Symphony which will synchronize with the speakers of your TV for an immersive 3D sound experience.

Great TV overall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TV has an outstanding picture and color. The picture is clear and sharp; people and landscapes look almost 3D. The sound quality is very good. Setup was easy with no problems. The remote works fine but seems a little cheap for this TV. Overall, we are very pleased with the TV.

Amazing TV, hate new menu

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love Samsung TV's, our old one had an issues and was replaced under manufacturers warranty and replaced with this model. With our old TV, when you hit the home menu, you could easily choose the app you want. With the new Neo TV, you have a lot of stuff to go through and it isn't as user friendly. If there was a way to change the home screen to the prior version, this TV would be 5 star, absolutely amazing. With the new home screen, it knocks it down to 3 stars. Samsung should go back to making it simple and more user friendly for the home screen.
