We purchased a Samsung TV in August 2024: Model # QN50QN90DAF Model Code # 0N550QN90DAFXZA Type # QN50QN90D We a re now experiencing dark horizontal screen lines. We tried to correct this following various online .recommendations . None have resolved the problem. How do we fix this? are there any warrantees?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Really like the TV, but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really pleased with the picture and sound quality of my QN90D Samsung Neo QLED 4K TV. It is definitely a two person job to hang the tv on a wall mount. The set-up was fairly simple and did not take too long. That said, the remote for this tv is simple horrible. The volume button and directional button are not user friendly. The volume button is very small and somewhat recessed. The directional button requires you to be very specific where you place your finger to use the remote. If you are using a streaming service and you want to forward/reverse the program, good luck. Luckily, I have an old Samsung remote that has raised buttons that I can use on this tv and the old Samsung remote resolves the aforementioned user issues. Again, really happy with the picture quality and sound.

Great TV but unresolvable problem with Tivo

Great TV but unfortunately we are having ongoing issues connecting our Tivo edge. We have been in contact with both Tivo and Samsung and each blames the other. We can only resolve the problem by unplugging and reconnecting the HDMI cable , restarting the Tivo box or (weirdly) starting Netflix and then repeatedly pressing 'live tv' on the Tivo controller. ( Sometimes works). Very frustrating and I think Samsung could do better to resolve this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this set - installed, last summer and I’m so glad I did! Previous TV monitor was other brand and it only lasted six years. My daughter recommended Samsung tv and have it and very happy with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Noticeable upgrade from 9 year old QLED

This TV replaces a QLED Q60 I purchased in 2014. I have always been happy with that TV and it still works so I gave it to my son and replaced it with this new Neo QLED QN90D. The picture is noticeably better, with deeper blacks and brighter colors. I left all picture settings on "AI" due to varied lighting conditions in my great room and it seems to do just fine without the hassle of fiddling around looking for the perfect picture settings. I paired with the Ultra Slim HW-S800D soundbar which I love; Q-Symphony for the win! Up-scaling is also very good. Most of my content source is cable which is 1080P and the 4K upscale is impressive. All in all I'm very happy with my QN90D and highly recommend!
