UI and Search Function Could be Improved

I got this TV two months ago, and while it’s definitely an upgrade from my old smaller one, it’s left me wanting more. The search function can be tricky when trying to find apps or specific programs, so I’ve ended up using the SmartThings phone app to control the TV and access things more quickly. The resolution is solid, but when it comes to ball sports (football, soccer), there’s a bit of frame loss at times. Alexa voice control is also not reliable enough given the poor search functionality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To assist in learning the various functions, please know you can download the QN90D TV's User Manual, e-Manual, Remote Control Leaflet, and Quick Setup Guide on Samsung's website under Support > Manuals & Software > TVs & Home Theater. You can search for and select the QN90D TV to download the guides you would like.
The e-Manual is also embedded into your TV itself under Menu > Settings > Support > Open e-Manual.
When the TV is far from you or the ambient noise is too loud, the TV may be unable to recognize your voice. For the best results, you will need to be within 10 feet of your TV. Please look at your TV screen and speak.
If you haven’t already, we recommend enabling the Voice Wake-up function as well. Press the microphone button on your remote, then go to Explore Now > Settings > Voice Wake-up.

wish for better color accuracy like my 2018 sled

its nice. not as punchy or brightness like my 2018 qn sled 49 inch. the blacks are really black which I'm impressed . blacks are comparable to old tv color accuracy and brightness is off a little bit so I'm trying to get used to it. it does wonderful with cartoon movies on certain settings like movie or eco. but gets washed out in dynamic or standard mode which is disappointing compared my 2018 sled I gave away . now it it was color accurate in all settings like my old sled then this would be the ultimate Neo led. unfortunately to get. that better crisp picture of the Neo qled tech you would have to get into the bigger more expensive size 8k models and spend a fortune because they dont make smaller 8k Neo qled.

We appreciate your thoughts on the picture quality of Samsung’s QN90D TV. If the image you’re seeing isn’t to your liking, there are several picture settings you may want to adjust.
Go to Home > left direction button > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode ...and select the mode that best fits your usage: 1. Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments 2. Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments 3. Eco: Provided to save energy 4. Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room 5. Filmmaker Mode: Provides source content just as the creators intended. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it’ll automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
You can also fine-tune your picture with expert settings such as brightness, contrast, sharpness and more (All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings).

Very nice TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV was a breeze to unpack and install on the wall mount. It’s a two person lift so have someone lend a hand. The plugs are not far from the edge and are easy to reach, the power plug was a bit closer to center but still reachable. When you first turn it on it goes into a simple setup for your devices, language etc and you are watching TV in no time. The Q90D immediately recognized my network and updated itself. ROKU and Fire TV on HDMI were immediately setup and they were good to go. I made no screen adjustments at all, the picture is perfect and skin tones spot on. This 65” Samsung Q90D is all I hoped it would be and more.. I appreciate the small simple to use remote although I only stream TV and use the Roku remote exclusively.

Thank you for purchasing Samsung's QN90D TV and for your feedback on the sound. To ensure you’ve got the latest sound quality updates, please confirm that your TV is up to date with the latest firmware version. You can check by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
If the sound is still not to your liking after updating firmware, there are several sound settings you can adjust to suit your personal preferences.
• Sound Modes may better meet your personal preferences. Go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > Sound > Sound Mode, or Expert Settings to fine-tune and customize your sound.
• Adaptive Sound will also further optimize sound quality by analyzing the viewing space and the acoustic components of the content. Go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Intelligent Mode Settings.

I purchased this TV about a month ago and have been very happy with it. The picture quality is first class and the added features are very good. I was surprised at the number of games that were available and have taken advantage of some of those.

I purchased this tv in December 2024 and so far it has been a great addition to my home. This large 85" tv was perfect for my living room space. It makes watching all the sporting events like basketball 🏀 and football 🏈 just that much more exciting! The picture is very clear with great color and the sound is good. I would buy again.

I'm somewhat satisfied with the TV. The only thing I'm kind of disappointed is that there is a delay when changing channels or going from DVR to live TV, and sometimes the voice does not coincide with character lips. Not sure if it's our satellite system or the TV.

We appreciate your feedback on the lip sync issues you’re experiencing with your TV. This could possibly be a source issue, but if you’re hearing an audio delay across all sources/channels and you have a receiver, soundbar, or other speakers connected to your TV, you can access the Audio Delay settings to increase the audio delay. Go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Delay
Our TVs have an audio Pass-Through feature, which allows the audio signal to be sent out unprocessed to an external soundbar or receiver connected to the TV. The external device then processes the audio, thereby eliminating the added step of processing by the TV, which adds delay.
On your TV, go to: Menu > Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Audio Output Format > Pass-Through
Please also be sure you’re running the latest firmware. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
