Great quiet dishwasher

Great dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would have given 5-stars but the instructions in the user guide does not properly show how to place the rinse aid in the compartment! There are multiple holes...which hole do you place the rinse in? I tried one and it came right out below the dispenser, the other one..not sure what occured, some came out at the bottom as well.
Installer left a part on the counter(husband moved it) that I just found and the kick plate (?) under the door, is loose on one side - no information on how to secure it. Even the webpage does not have any related information for this.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Forgot we ran it....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had a number of dishwashers, of various manufacturer's, and all claimed to be quiet & efficient. Well, after many discussions with her friends, my wife * I decided we needed a more quiet machine. Her friends reccommended Bosch. One of their quotes was "if the light wasn't on, we wouldn't know it was running".
I myself decided to download a Decibel meter onto my to check our current machine. 38-43 dbs. But I have to say, didn't seem like that. So we looked at a number of washers and based on my wife's friends comments, picked Bosch. Decided on the 500 series, since the 800 was considerably more, and we didn't need all the bells and whistles that offered. But we did like the layout of the racks, and having 3, especially the flatware tray on top is my favorite. It leaves the flatware cleaner than the basket, in my opinion.
But the best part, is that it is truely the quietest dishwasher we have owned, and very happy with our choise. And regarding the Dbs, when tested with the same app, at or below 28 dbs, or quiet, on the meter. And such sometimes now, "we forgot we ran it"....
Thank you Bosch for the quiet engineered into this machine.

Happy with this dishwasher

Works fine, but shouldn’t have an app

The dishwasher is fine. Cleans well. It dries things decently, but not the best. The utensil basket is very small. The worst part is the app. I don’t know who in marketing thought it was a good idea, but no one needs an app for their dishwasher. It's just purely annoying. If you want certain features, like delayed start, you need the app. It's just kind of mind boggling that someone approved this. I would recommend a previous model or another model without the app. If they left our phones alone and ditched the app, this would be a 4/5 star review.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
