Super Quiet, but disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher is super quiet, love the red light on the floor so you know it's running! Disappointed in the bottom rack set up, and the much smaller utensil cady. It can't be positioned where I want it as it doesn't hook to the rail. The long back row of slots for plates is great, but the rest of the bottom rack seems awkward. The 2nd rack is kind of awkward as well . The top rack is great/roomy and fits ALOT of knives, spatuals's, etc.

As expected...excellent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old dishwasher was noisy and didn't clean well. Our search for a replacement lead us to Bosch and we couldn't be more pleased. The Bosch DW is quiet (yes, that light is sometimes needed to see that it is still running). And, although we were skeptical, we put in dirty pots that we previously washed by hand. To our delight, those pots came out clean. Although we could have purchased a cheaper dishwasher, the performance and quiet of the Bosch 500 dishwasher was well worth the price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Buyer's regret-would def return if given option

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loading this dishwasher is pure aggravation. The tines are at an angle making it a struggle to load a mixed variety of dishes. I end up having to load most bowl shaped items upside down, which then hogs up all the space becuase if I load them sideways they aren't cleaned effectively.
The 3rd rack is adequate for silverware, but then not much space for other large utensils.
I thought also I was getting the model with the auto air--but this one doesn't have that feature, so another disappointment.
As far as cleaning--not impressed. It's a definte "meh" for me there. Any big or super dirty items I'm just hand washing becuse I now know this washer can't handle it.

Dishwasher Not Drying and Petroleum Smell

I had this 38 dBA 500 Series Bosch dishwadher installed 5/9/2025. This is the 3rd Bosch dishwasher I have owned. The dishes come out clean and the unit is quiet; however, I am disappointed and unhappy with this unit for 2 reasons. First, after running dishes on the hottest cycle, selecting "sanitize" and "extra dry," the interior of the stsinless steel tub is covered in water snd the top rack, which is plastic is covered in water droplets as well. My prior 2 Bosch dishwasher ls did not have this issue at all. In fact, there was no water that accumulated on the stainless steel tun, nor the platic third rack. Also, there is a horrible petroleum smell inside the dishwadher after running a cycle. I hope the smell will eventually go away, but I am wondering if my beand new dishwasher is not reaching high enough temperatures to make the Pure dry work. The rinse aid is full and my other 2 Bosch dishwashers did NOT have this problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bosch 500 review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The things I like most about the Bosch dishwasher is one how clean the dishes come out. Two, how many dishes you can fit since you have options to have times that are very close to each other. And three how super quiet it is. On the negative side my biggest complaint is that the angles for the ties are funny because the dishes will fall over if you don't have something else to support it. Second there isn't any place for large odd shaped dishes, like big balls, so you have to play some over the top of a large area taking up lots of space. And three since this dishwasher doesn't have any way to remove moisture the dishes come out very wet. I have found that I need to open the dishwasher to vent it for a while to let some of this moisture to evaporate. The benefit of that is that you don't have a heating element that melts plastic in the bottom, which is good. All in all, I really like my dishwasher, and will hope that it does have the reputation of being very reliable, which I don't know yet. And I have adapted somewhat to the uniqueness of some of these features.

Best decision ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our dishwasher wasn't that old but it wasn't doing the job we needed. The new Bosch 500 is perfect! I swear it holds more dishes than our previous dishwasher, we love the 3rd drawer and the cycles don't take as long! All in all a great investment!

Excellent Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently installed this dishwasher to replace a 15 year-old GE. The new dishwasher cleans and dries very well. Everything gets very clean, and the only items that don't get fully dry are plastics. I haven't tried using a rinse aid yet, but that's supposed to help with drying plastics. I also appreciate the excellent dish racks and the silverware tray. Last but not least, this machine is really quiet. I can barely hear it as it runs through a full cycle.
I would recommend this to a friend!
