Love Bosch dishwashers

NO AUTO AIR

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I specifically chose the 500 series because i wanted the auto air feature. Then, I decided to spend the little extra and also get the quietest in the series. It was not until I got it home and installed that I realised THIS model does not have the auto air. Quite a disappointment! That was the major reason I chose the 500 model! I am very disappointed that Bosch's marketing was not more clear!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So Very Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a Bosch Dishwasher for over 25 years. It finally died and we researched many dishwashers but went to Bosh again. Yes it is costly but we're hoping it will last 25 years like our last one. This dishwasher is so quiet. It also cleans as it should and looks great. It takes some getting use to the controls on the door top. We have had it a few weeks and are very happy with our purchase

He's not wrong, dishes are sparkling when they come out and even some nasty pots came out spotless. I love how quiet it is, and the connectivity to my phone via wi-fi is awesome.

Is It "on"?

When we decided to replace our former dishwasher, I spent a few hours reading reviews and decided that the 500 Series was the best for us: reasonable price, good performance, and high reliability in addition to the most important characteristic: It cleans dishes exceptionally well. It's been installed for 4 days so we've used it a bit and are extremely happy with the cleanliness of the dishes at the end of the cycle. I must admit that we thought there was a problem on the first cycle: we queued it up, pressed the Start control, closed it and waited... Did we hear something... faintly, yes. "But look at that red light on the floor," I said. "It must be "on"". Later, while watching TV, my spouse said, "I don't hear it. Is it on?" So I got up, went over to it, and said, "Yes, over here I can hear it." It not only washes well, it is very, very quiet.

So quiet, great dishwasher

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This is a great dishwasher. First the installation. All of the connections are at the back, making the install so much easier. My old dishwasher had the connections underneath which meant using wrenches in a 3 inch gap between the floor and the bottom of the dishwasher. Not fun. The Bosch dishwasher has eliminated the worst part of the install. Another great feature is being able to adjust the back leveling foot from the front of the machine. I've installed quite a few dishwashers and this was by far the easiest I have ever done. It's a good thing that it shines a red light on the floor when it is running, otherwise you wouldn't know it running ,it's that quiet. Love the top third rack for cutlery, and it cleans the dishes perfectly. Another great feature is that it does not have a heating element at the bottom of the tub. So you can put plastic ware on the bottom rack without worrying if it will melt. Great dishwasher
